slj week 1 my culture

I am Oliver Lucas Smith and I am part maori.
I am named after my maori great poua. His name was John Oliver Tauwhare. He was known as Ollie.
My whanau comes from Rapaki near  Lyttelton.
I speak english but I also speak  a little bit of Maori.
My most important thing in my life is my family.
I like to spend time with my family, and the most special thing for us is spending time with each other

  2. Hi Oli,

Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.

That's really special having a name that is one that runs in your whānau. My middle name is after my Nana and I am really proud of that too. My family is the most important thing in my life as well, they are incredibly special to me. What are some things you enjoy doing with your whānau?

Until next time, happy blogging :)
    Emma
