slj day 2 activity 2 - One Small Step for Man

Landing on the Moon
by Oli

Once I landed on the moon
On my birthday
The 29 th of June!

I put my space suit on
And clipped my helmet tight
I put my moon boots on too
And jumped out into the night

The moon was dark and scary
It was also quiet and airy
I bounced around all over the place
With another astronaut called Grace

We didn't find any aliens
So decided to come back home
I lived to tell the story
And that is why I made this poem!

  1. Morena Oli,

Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity. There is only one more day left to get those activities done and gain those points so keep blogging and commenting.

What an awesome poem you have written! I love how it rhymes and is very catchy. Have you written other poems before?
Going to the moon would be amazing don't you think? The earth would look incredible from all the way up there.

Until next time, happy blogging :)
